^ denotes anomaly; Ross is considered Jon Lester’s “personal catcher” and started game one. Miguel Montero would be the usual everyday catcher

For this division, the Chicago Cubs held their lineup closest to the optimized lineup. This, coincidently, after they have hired new manager Joe Maddon who has been notorious for supporting sabermetric stats. Also, the St. Louis Cardinals lineups are almost identical in nature. What does this all mean? We will have to wait and see…

Next will be looking into the National League West Division.
